i just got the gamewith a friend....i see they are online and can chat with them but i cant find them anywhere...we are on the same district in the same place and we cant see each other why???? anyone help

Try holding the CTRL key and it will show the names of everyone in the area, clicking their name will then show a yellow circle at their location on your radar.

An alternative method is to type their name into the group invite box (next to the plus sign button) and invite them to your group.

or simply do /invite <name>
